A desert island is a very lonely place to live.
Sure, there are palm trees.
Of course, the beaches are blissfully deserted.
Coconuts aplenty.
But what is life without another to experience it with?
Just a memory. Maybe a photo or two.
Experiences are made when we can turn to our travelling companion and say: “I’m glad you’re here to share this with me.”
Or often just, “This is pretty nice, eh?”
